Critical Care opportunity in Jackson, TN - Located 85 miles from Memphis, TN- Service area: 550,000 people in 17-county service area Position Details: - Full-time, permanent- Employed- MD or DO, board certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine with successful completion of fellowship training in critical care medicine at an accredited institution.- Must have a commitment to excellence in clinical service, be forward thinking and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary in this environment- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting- H1b & J1 waiver eligible facility Intensivist Program: - 29 bed SICU, 12 bed MICU, and 18 bed CCU- 3 physicians during the day; 1 intensivist at night- Typical census 30-35 patients distributed between 3 physicians- High acuity ICU with advanced Cardiac: Impella, IABP, ECMO, proning for ARDS, SLED, SCUF- EMR: Cerner with Dragon for Dictation Compensation Details: - Robust Benefit Package: Up to $90,000 in loan assistance, Sign on Bonus, Relocation, 403b, CME, and much more!- Compensation based on Experience Community Details: - Jackson, Tennessee has convenient access to Memphis and Nashville- Friendly community of more than 100,000 people- Low cost of living NO STATE INCOME TAX- 4000 square foot home in $350K range- Local Attractions: Symphony Orchestra, Cultural Arts, Athletic Clubs, Country Club, Professional Sports, Camping, Hunting, Fishing, Golf- Americas Most Livable Small City (U.S. Conference of Mayors 2013)- Ranked 6th Best Cost of Living Metropolitan Area in the Country (August 2017 Fortune Magazine)- Hospital Details: - 642 bed tertiary care center- 26 ORs in Main Hospital and 10 in Ambulatory Surgery Center- Cerner EMR- 75 Adult ICU beds- 100,000 plus ER visits annually- Over 300 Physicians on Active Staff- Serving 550,000 people in 17-county service area- One of the top ten largest public not for profit healthcare systems in the U.S.
