Job DescriptionGeneral Cable Corporation, a leading wire & cable manufacturer located in Jackson, TN, has immediate openings for Primary Extrusion Operators. The working schedule consists of Monday through Friday with 2nd and 3rd shifts available. Base pay start out is $15.79. Additional growth opportunities are available with the acquisition of skills blocks and certifications.Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as work in a safe manner at all times following all safety policies and procedures. Performing setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment.
