**Position Overview**

Researches and orders equipment or parts from the most cost-effective suppliers at a moderately complex level. Processes returns, shipments, and credits for assigned groups of equipment.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Uses knowledge of equipment within a trade area to source equipment supply requests (including HVAC parts, pools, and appliances) from contractors at the best possible price and terms.

+ Uses a sourcing database to locate available equipment from approved suppliers.

+ Researches and orders requested equipment from the most cost-effective suppliers.

+ Works directly with contractors to resolve discrepancies in the purchase orders and determines correct equipment needed or arranges for substitutions, etc.

+ Processes returns for cancellations.

+ Enters purchase orders and documents purchases within the customer claim.

+ Answers inbound calls and makes outbound calls; provides necessary follow-up.

**Job Requirements**

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

+ 1- 3 years customer service and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required

+ Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing trade is a plus

+ Ability to provide customer service and conflict resolution effectively

+ Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Web)

+ Good attention to detail skills

+ Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
