Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/03/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2 years of cardiac echo experience and current CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) certification. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital echocardiography department - Perform ECHO and TEE procedures on adult and pediatric patients - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule with no weekends or on call - Epic EMR experience required within the last 12 months or 10 additional hours of orientation will be provided - Floating may be required per facility policy - Responsibilities include performing cardiac ECHO and TEE exams for adults and pediatrics - Epic EMR competency exam must be passed; only one attempt permitted - Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate - Return staff must be disclosed for consideration - No schedule or block requests will be considered - All RTO must be requested up front; additional time off is not approved - Scrub requirements or dress code not specified Requirements - Minimum 2 years of cardiac echo experience required - Pediatric echo experience preferred but pediatric registry is not required - CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) certification required - Current BLS certification required - Epic experience within the last 12 months required or willingness to complete extra orientation - State license required if applicable - Two professional references required for consideration - Must be able to pass a fit test; men must be clean-shaven for test - Must submit valid SSN and DOB for consideration - Copy of driver’s license and SSN required for consideration Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622043.
