Ideal for experienced Telemetry RNs and Travel Nurses seeking Tennessee nursing jobs. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Jackson, TN 38301 — Travel nursing opportunity in Jackson, Tennessee/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)/n - Setting: Neuro/Surgical Telemetry (Cardiac Stepdown) — Telemetry RN / Neuro Stepdown RN/n - Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Weekend/Holiday: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; must be willing to work Memorial Day/n - On-site: On-site hospital RN position (not remote)/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800–$1890 per week (based on experience and qualifications)/n /n/nJob Requirements / Qualifications/n /n - Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state — Tennessee nursing jobs candidates preferred/n - Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry or Neuro Stepdown experience (travel nursing experience preferred)/n - Current AHA BLS and ACLS; NIHSS required/n - Epic EMR/Charting experience within the last 12 months (must be detailed on submission profile)/n - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions for COVID-19 only)/n - Willingness to float to other MS/Tele units or ICU (low acuity) as needed/n - Strong skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, post-MI care, IV insulin protocols, procedural sedation, and neuro/trauma care/n - Experience with tracheostomy care, chest tubes, high-flow oxygen, wound vacs, and surgical drains/n - Excellent teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment in fast-paced hospital environments/n /n/nKey Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy 31-bed Neuro/Surgical Telemetry unit/n - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias and respond to rapid response/code situations/n - Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and provide wound care including wound vacs and surgical drains/n - Care for patients with tracheostomies, chest tubes, and high-flow oxygen devices/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV team, PT, RT, pharmacy, social work) to optimize patient outcomes/n - Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR and follow hospital policies and infection control standards/n - Float to other units as needed to support hospital staffing and patient care/n /n/nWhy This Travel Nursing Job?/n /n - Gain or build on telemetry and neuro stepdown clinical experience in a busy hospital setting/n - Work with a collaborative multidisciplinary team and supportive leadership/n - Opportunity for professional growth for experienced RNs and travel nurses seeking Tennessee nursing jobs/n /n/n Ready to apply?
