Job Description Tenet Memphis is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a job in Memphis, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Staff /n Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility /n Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Is multi-skilled in the additional area of mammography. Will also perform procedures in Bone Density. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. /n - Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs; - Assists practitioner with percutaneous localizations and aspirations of the breast; - Optimizes mammography procedures by completing QA-QC protocols - Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly - Multi-skilled in the additional area of mammography - Other related duties as assigned - Required - Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology - Experience: 2 years in diagnostic mammography radiography - Certification: ARRT ( R, M), state license if required - - Preferred - Education: Associates degree Tenet Memphis Job ID 2603004046.
