Job Description:
Encompass Health is actively seeking a dedicated Nurse
Supervisor to join our team, specializing in providing superior
post-acute rehabilitative services at our healthcare facilities.
This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of
patient care and ensuring that all nursing operations align with
our organization’s patient-centered philosophy. The Nurse
Supervisor will monitor patient care, manage nursing staff, and
collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient
outcomes. This position demands a compassionate, detail-oriented
approach, with a strong emphasis on leadership and efficiency in a
fast-paced environment. Supervise and mentor nursing staff,
ensuring adherence to established policies and the highest
standards of patient care. Coordinate with healthcare professionals
to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Manage staff
scheduling, assignments, and ongoing assessments of staffing needs.
Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA
and safety standards. Participate in recruitment, training, and
performance evaluation of nursing staff. Address and resolve any
issues related to patient care or staff performance. Monitor and
optimize the use of supplies and nursing resources. Facilitate team
meetings and promote collaboration among the healthcare team.

BLS/CPR certification Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
