Job Description Job Title: Assistant Hospital Medicine Director Location: Memphis, TN Employment Type: Full-Time (Employee / W-2) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated physician to join our team as an Assistant Hospital Medicine Director at a well-regarded facility in Memphis, Tennessee. This leadership opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, full benefits, and excellent professional support. Highlights: - Full-time, employed (W-2) position - Contracted for 182 hours per month - 7 on / 7 off block schedule - Daily patient census of 15–18 - Closed ICU — no procedures required - ICU Code Team involvement - EMR system: EPIC - Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage - Full benefits package including retirement options - Assistant Medical Director monthly stipend - Sign-on and relocation incentives negotiable Requirements: - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - Leadership experience preferred (Chief Residents with demonstrated leadership qualities may be considered) - Eligible for medical licensure in Tennessee Additional Information: Must demonstrate prior leadership experience; new graduates will not be considered unless they served as Chief Resident and exhibit strong leadership skills.
