Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated PRN PCU (Progressive Care Unit) Registered Nurse to join our team in Jackson, Tennessee. As part of our talented team, you will work in a progressive care unit handling patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, but who are not unstable enough to need ICU care. Our team values nurturing high-quality nursing talent with a focus on improving patient outcomes. Monitor and record patient vital signs, and report any significant changes to the attending physician. Administer medications following physician orders and as per schedule, ensuring all medication protocols are adhered to. Provide direct patient care and manage comfort levels in a fast-paced environment. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management, especially post-discharge. Collaborate with healthcare team members to formulate, implement, and evaluate care plans. Uphold safety standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee BLS Certification ACLS Certification
