Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care at our post-acute care facilities. In this role, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and ensure patient safety. As a key member of our team, you will support patients through recovery processes, administer medications, and contribute to their treatment plans. This position offers the opportunity to work in a patient-centric environment that prioritizes rehabilitation and recovery. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate records of their medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or modify patient care plans. Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as dressing wounds, taking blood samples, and managing infection prevention protocols. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance measures. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with patients and staff. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Capable of handling emotional and physical stress. Knowledge of healthcare safety protocols and infection control. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN license valid in the state of employment. CPR certification required. Optional but beneficial: Certifications in Wound Care, IV Therapy or Gerontology.
