Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities. Our LPNs play a pivotal role in implementing patient-specific treatment plans, administering medications, and contributing to a compassionate environment that fosters recovery and well-being. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing both physical and emotional support to patients, maintaining a safe environment, and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within a rehabilitation environment Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention Facilitate patient rehabilitation and support emotional needs during recoveries Excellent bedside manner and strong communication skills Ability to perform all technical skills required for the provision of care to patients Knowledge of medication administration and wound care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN license in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
