The role is based in La Grange, KY, with a client facility located nearby. Ideal candidates will bring strong clinical knowledge in general surgery and specialty areas including ENT, orthopedics, spine, urology, gynecology, vascular, and pain management. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care for both inpatient and outpatient surgical patients Participate in surgical procedures ensuring patient safety and sterile technique Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to support efficient workflow Maintain accurate clinical documentation using electronic medical records Adhere to facility surgical dress code and infection control policies Respond to on-call requirements with weekend and occasional weekday night call Qualifications & Experience: Current RN license with 3 years of operating room or surgical nursing experience Proficiency in orthopedic and spine surgical care preferred Experience with standard surgical equipment and Cerner EMR system preferred Strong teamwork skills and commitment to patient-centered care Ability to float within related surgical service departments as needed Schedule: Day shifts primarily; 36-40 hours weekly guaranteed On-call responsibilities including 2 weekend calls every 24 weeks or one week of night call Location Overview: La Grange, KY, offers a welcoming community environment with easy access to healthcare facilities and amenities.
