Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: January 19, 2026 Location: Martin, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with rotating on-call coverage approximately 10 days per month (includes weekday evenings, every third weekend, and holiday coverage as applicable) Highlights: Diverse surgical case mix including C-sections, laparoscopic procedures, orthopedic cases, and pain management procedures Experience with modern equipment including laparoscopic towers and Stryker surgicount system Epic EMR system in use facility-wide 16-hour orientation period provided Two pre-approved time-off periods available Local and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required; PACU experience preferred Active Tennessee or Compact state RN license required at time of submission Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or equivalent) Epic charting experience within the last 12 months required and must be documented on profile; competency exam must be passed Experience with surgical cases including laparoscopic procedures, C-sections, hernia repairs, orthopedic procedures, and gynecological surgeries Willingness to float to same-day surgery as needed COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); Flu vaccination required (no exemptions) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers exposure to a broad range of surgical specialties in a supportive environment that serves patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
