Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years CVICU experience with travel or 3 years CVICU experience with no travel required. License: Active RN license in the state or compact license Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: Recent and strong ICU experience Description: Must live at least 100 miles from the facility. First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 3 years of recent experience. On-call duties may be required as needed. Weekends may be required as needed. Weekend block scheduling is not accommodated, but weekend block may be considered. Local travelers are not accepted due to the 100-mile radius rule. Pending licenses are not accepted; all travelers must comply with NLC guidelines. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. During holiday assignments, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays if they fall during the assignment. Travelers can be floated between like units and campuses within 20 miles of each other, though floating between campuses is rare. 2 years of experience is required for all specialties; 3 years is preferable. At least one completed previous travel assignment is desired. Cerner experience is preferred. Vaccination status should be included in the profile. If certifications are set to expire during the assignment, plans for renewal must be clearly stated in the profile.
