Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/28/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology Facility: Methodist University Hospital (1265 Union Ave, Memphis, TN 38104) Department: SHORB 4 Radiology Diagnostic (Unit 17040) Start Date: July 28, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 with on-call (typically one weekend per month) Required Qualifications - Active RN license (state or compact) - Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, ICU, or ER (3 years preferred) - At least one prior travel assignment - BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred - Valid driver’s license - Pending-license submissions must comply with NLC guidelines Core Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive nursing care in interventional radiology: pre-, intra-, and post-procedure - Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and manage moderate sedation - Assist physicians with image-guided procedures (e.g., angiograms, biopsies, drain placements, stent placements) - Monitor vital signs and manage complications during invasive procedures - Maintain sterile technique, manage instrumentation, and ensure compliance with narcotics logs - Provide patient education and perform discharge planning - Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a Level I trauma center About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
