This is a 64-bed unit that ensures patients receive optimal medical attention and support. We strive to create places where patients choose to come for healthcare, where providers desire to practice, and Team Members want to work.The RN - Medical Surgical Unit provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.Assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needsSets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patientsDevelops individual nursing care plansImplements care plans and makes revisions as neededEvaluates patient care outcomesCollaborates with physicians and other hospital employeesAdministers medications, treatments and therapies.Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care.Provides patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to condition.Accurately documents nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given.Required Skills
