Join Our Team as an Occupational TherapistWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover functional abilities and independence after surgery, injury, or medical crisis.About the RoleThe Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing and treating patients with a range of conditions, including those with physical, cognitive, or emotional impairments. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient function and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination
• Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants, Technicians, and students
• Participate in patient care conferences and family conferences as scheduledQualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • At least one year of experience practicing occupational therapy in a hospital or Home Health setting
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the A.M.A. or its equivalent
  • Current licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist in the state of Tennessee
