Job Description:
Purpose:The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for
establishing and overseeing the production control vision and
strategy (2 5 years out) in alignment with the Jackson Vision,
Mission, and Strategy and the Delta Faucet long range plan. The
right leader demonstrates leadership that expresses, models, and
reinforces a culture of accountability, high performance, change
leadership and empowerment to drive execution, adaptability, and
scalability and support the growth and needs of the
business.Responsibilities:
- Design and lead the production control strategy and roadmap to
proactively plan and schedule material/production/PJM project
needs, manage and optimize 3PL relationship and materials movement
to support business needs
- Develop collaborative relationships with Sourcing, Customer
Service, Sales Teams, Category Managers, Asia Operations, and
Customers to improve service levels while lowering inventory
days-on-hand and ensuring effective production schedules.
- Support the development and execution of short and long-term
business objectives of production plans focused on capacity
planning, material availability, 3PL optimization, customer focus,
efficiencies, and cost containment
- Ensure component material is available to support the
Manufacturing plan, including identifying supply constraints and
partnering with stakeholders to mitigate potential supply
gaps.
- Establish KPIs and leverage reporting and analytics to track
progress and monitor success of the Production Control
strategy
- Develop an adaptable organization to handle new technologies
and approaches to lead change and support growth
- Develop, coach and mentor a team capable of carrying out
operating strategies, while enhancing employee engagement. This
team should strive to be industry leaders in Service and Inventory
Management.
- Be a genuine dual citizen of your team/function/business
unit/the Masco enterprise by working across boundaries, navigating
complexities, and effectively interfacing with leaders across the
organizationEducation & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Planning/Operations Management
or related area /MBA a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in senior level
supply planning, materials management, manufacturing, or 3PL
management, 24/7 production experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated senior level
presence, relationship building skills
- Change leader, proactive, innovator, problem solver, proven
